Privacy, security & your data
This page explains what we collect when you order from I CAPI, how it's stored, and the controls we put in place to keep it safe.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, and delivery address when you place an order.
- Order contents, totals, and any notes you send with an order.
- Account email if you sign in (e.g. via Google) to place online orders.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your order.
- To contact you about your order via WhatsApp or phone.
- To keep an internal record of orders for our kitchen and accounting.
Security controls
- All data is stored in an access-controlled database with row-level security.
- Orders can only be placed by signed-in customers; admin and waiter views are role-restricted.
- Waiters can only update an order's status — never customer details or totals.
- Backend secrets and integration keys are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser.
- Sign-in is delegated to trusted identity providers (Google, email).
Your choices
- You can request deletion of your account and associated orders by contacting us.
- You can stop sharing data at any time by not placing further orders.
